Lise Lunge-Larsen: Storyteller & Dragonslayer at Moorhead Library February 2!

Come to Moorhead Library on Tuesday, February 2 at 6:30 p.m. to hear Norwegian storyteller Lise Lunge-Larsen tell stories about trolls, fairies, elves, gnomes and other magical creatures!

Born and raised in Norway, Lise Lunge-Larsen came to the US on a scholarship to attend college. She planned to return to Norway but fell in love, married and remained in the US where, in addition to teaching at the college level, she has become a well-known storyteller and award-winning author. She and her husband have three children and live in Duluth, MN where she is known as “The Troll Lady.”

Lunge-Larsen is the author of “The Hidden Folk: Stories of Fairies, Dwarves, Selkies, and Other Secret Beings” and “The Troll with No Heart in His Body.” Programming is supported in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
