From Idea to Book with Minnesota Author John Coy March 16 & 17!

Join Minnesota author John Coy to learn how to turn an idea into a finished book! John will share necessary steps in the writing and publishing process for both picture books and chapter books and show examples of his work.

These are all-ages presentations and John will be more than happy to answer questions about writing.

John Coy is the author of the picture books Night Driving, Strong to the Hoop, Vroomaloom Zoom, Two Old Potatoes and Me, and Around the World.

John is a member of the NBA Reading All-Star Team as part of the Read to Achieve program. Crackback, his first young adult novel, is about high school football and his second, Box Out, is about high school basketball.

Eyes on the Goal

He is working on a middle-grade series and the first two books, Top of the Order and Eyes on the Goal, are now out. He lives in Minneapolis and visits schools nationally and internationally.
