In the summertime, Larry works at Fair Hills Resort on Pelican Lake by Detroit Lakes as the musical director, and is in charge of the recreation and entertainment programs for the guests.  He started working there as a junior in high school back in 1970, and has been working summers there on and off since then.

Swenson grew up on a small farm south of Lake Park, and now spends his life as a “Road Warrior” living between Mexico City, Mexico, and Minnesota.  In 1996 Larry founded Noel International, a training and consulting organization doing team building, cross cultural training, music, and other types of fun programs for people of all ages…from 6 years old up to corporate executives.

Programming is sponsored by Lake Agassiz Regional Library and supported in part with money from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage fund.
