The Beat Goes On: Dorothy Lund Nelson October 23-25

Between 1854 and 1929, more than 100,000 children were sent from New York City, via orphan trains, to new homes in rural America.

Lund Nelson, an acknowledged authority on the Orphan Train Movement and its ties to our region, will share about the fate of the children…from child laborer to accomplished governor.
