The Beat Goes On: Minnesota History Players Toni Stone March 5-7

Toni Stone was a pioneer for both women and African-Americans in baseball. This St. Paul native broke many barriers. Her drive, perseverance and determination transformed her from a Minnesota “tomboy” to the first female to play in the Negro League.
