The Bagley Public Library, a branch of Lake Agassiz Regional Library, will open its new location at 79 Spencer Ave. SW on June 10; the library will resume regular hours of service.
The Clearwater Library Foundation purchased the building on Spencer Avenue in 2012 after 16 years of fundraising efforts, and has completed the renovation of the former daycare facility into a library.
The new library facility provides additional space, off-street parking, handicap accessibility, and a community room for use by citizens of Bagley, Clearwater County, and surrounding communities. Renovations include: remodeled restrooms, installation of more features for the disabled, and refurbishment of community gathering spaces.
The reopening will take place in conjunction with the Bagley Public Library’s Summer Reading Program Kickoff Event. Area kids, teens, and families are encouraged to visit the new library location from 2 to 4 p.m. and meet the B.A.R.C. (Bemidji Area Reading Canines) reading dogs, sign up for the Summer Reading Program, and check out the amenities of the new facility.
The Bagley Public Library hours are; Tuesday & Thursday 2-8 p.m., Wednesday & Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
