A large used book sale will be held at the Crookston Public Library (110 N Ash St.) next week. The public is invited to browse the library’s collection of used books and other items available for purchase.
Hundreds of books will be for sale, including a variety of non-fiction, fiction and children’s books. Additional items available for purchase include DVDs, audiobooks and furniture. Customers may fill a bag with items for five dollars (furniture will be priced individually). Proceeds of the sale will be used to support the library’s fundraiser for facility improvements, which is made possible by a grant from the Otto Bremer Trust. The Crookston Public Library is seeking to raise the remaining $8,000 of a $25,000 matching funds initiative sponsored by the Otto Bremer Trust. Donations can be made at the library or at www.larl.org/donate.
The book sale will be held Monday, May 14 through Saturday, May 19 during the library’s open hours. The library is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
