Teachers

Working Together

Students often use both the school and public library to research assignments and choose materials.  By working together, we can help to provide students with the best possible library and research experience.

Online Catalog
Use the online catalog to find materials in a variety of formats.

Online Databases
Use the online databases to find a variety of articles in newspapers, magazines, and reference resources – including encyclopedias. Online databases may be accessed from within the libraries or from remote locations.

Class Visits and Tours

We encourage teachers to bring classes to their local library for a tour.  Library staff are more than willing to demonstrate how to use the library, online catalog, online databases, etc.  Library staff are also available to visit classrooms to discuss all LARL has to offer.  Contact your local librarian for more information.
