In conjunction with
Crookston Public Library
Fathers Reading Every Day (FRED) is a program designed to encourage fathers,
grandfathers, and other positive male role models to read to their children on a daily basis. The program aims to increase male involvement in children’s literacy development and to improve the quality of father-child relationships. The FRED Program is brought to you by the Crookston Public Library, the Crookston Early Childhood Initiative and the Tri-Valley Head Start Program. Men are invited to bring the special children in their lives, ages three to six, to the library for a fun program including snacks, movement activities and stories. Go home with a free book!!
