Last fall Rowenna Fillmore, a senior at the University of Minnesota-Crookston, traveled to Mongolia to complete her Animal Science (Pre-vet) internship with V.E.T.Net, a non-government organization (NGO). V.E.T.Net is staffed mostly by Mongolians, utilizing the energy and knowledge of volunteers from around the world to share the Good News among their people.
Rowenna was educated at home in the countryside of northern Wisconsin, with over a decade of 4-H and personal experience with animals and a deep interest in sharing her faith with others. She enjoys opportunities to tell others in the community about her trip and how this first time outside the States affected her life and plans. From her nearly 3,500 photo and video files, she has picked out special pictures and videos that best tell the story of her time overseas.
