Canceled: “Sons of the Wild Jackass” Author Terry Shoptaugh to Visit Libraries March 30-April 4

The Lake Agassiz Regional Library is closely monitoring information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and in effort to protect staff, customers and our communities, all locations will close for an undefined duration beginning Tuesday, March 17. 

Terry Shoptaugh, retired professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead, will read from his new book, “Sons of the Wild Jackass”. He will relate incidents in the early years of North Dakota’s Nonpartisan League (NPL), a farmers’ movement that flourished in the early 20th century and influenced subsequent advances in agricultural organizations, as well as NPL activities in Minnesota.

These author presentations are offered free of charge, thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
