Crookston Library to Host The Path to Auschwitz Presentation
The Crookston Public Library will host a presentation by Connie Hannesson, former Crookston Elementary School teacher, examining the pre-war years and the events taking place that would lead to the extermination of 6 million people across Europe. Hannesson’s narrative will bring you inside the Warsaw Ghetto and demonstrate the trauma of being “called up” for relocation to a so-called “labor camp”, and more. The presentation will be accompanied by a DVD about the Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps. This event is offered free of charge. All ages are welcome.
