Educator’s Toolbox
Your library is here to help! Learn how the library supports educators.

LARL Student Library Card
Schools within the Lake Agassiz Regional Library are eligible for the LARL Student Library Card program. The mission of this project is to remove barriers to students by making cards and resources easily accessible. This includes an opt-in registration feature through the school’s registration portal. To learn how to implement this at your school visit the LARL Student Card FAQ or contact Liz Lynch, Executive Director at lynchl@larl.org.

Classroom Institutional Card
Sign up for a library card for your classroom by contacting your local LARL library or LINK Site

Learning Materials Request
Use the online catalog to reserve materials for your classroom, or email or call your local library to request items on specific topics, subjects and themes (for example: juvenile non-fiction titles on US States, picture books about emotions). Staff will collect these materials and place them on hold on your card to be picked up at their designated library. You will be notified when your items arrive at the library.
Please note: items may not all arrive at the same time! Check your holds or contact your library for more information.

Digital Library
Take advantage of the LARL digital library. With your 13 digit library card number or LARL Student Card number, gain access to thousands of eBooks, eAudiobooks, streamable music and movies, journal articles and more.

Schedule a Class Visit
Contact your local library to schedule a tour of your library or a visit to the classroom by the librarian. A friendly librarian will introduce your students to the many resources available to library users and can provide guidance on using the library.

Partnership Opportunities
Do you know of a local opportunity or do you have a great idea to better serve students and their families? Reach out to us! We would love to meet with you to talk about how to help kids succeed!
