Ada Public Library to Host a Plant & Produce Swap August 15
Join the Ada Public Library for a plant and produce swap! Visit the library on August 15, 2023 from 4-6 PM to pick up a free plant or fresh produce.
This event is free to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. To participate in the event simply bring a plant from your collection and exchange it for one from someone else’s. Perennials, annuals, bulbs, houseplants and cuttings are all welcome. Or, did your garden produce more this year than you can use? Bring your extra fruits and vegetables to our swap as well and exchange it for something else during the event. Don’t have anything to swap? No problem, there will be extras to share.
The library will also have a designated area for free gardening items, so bring your unwanted gardening books, magazines, tools, pots and seeds to share at the event. While you are here be sure to browse the library’s display of gardening books in the library.
