Detroit Lakes Library to Host Polar Fest Presentation Featuring Author Ryan Rodgers on Feb. 22
The Detroit Lakes Public Library will host a special Polar Fest presentation featuring Minnesota author Ryan Rodgers, as he shares about ski adventures from Scandinavia to Minnesota to around the world. He will discuss one of the world’s first ski marathons, an epic, 220km race in northern Scandinavia in 1884, as well as the first ascent of both north and south peaks of Denali, along with many other fascinating ski stories. This program is made possible thanks to the ongoing support of the Becker County Friends of the Library.
