Maggie’s clear and cutting poetry grapples with motherhood, divorce, grief, nature, and healing. As an Ohio poet, her Midwestern heart shone through to my own. I loved this most recent collection, her observations and growth through heartbreak and change in the midst of pandemic were a light and mirror for me.
