Detroit Lakes Autumnal Painting
Bring the family to the library to paint a fall themed picture of pumpkins, spooky bookshelves, or cute cats in the autumn leaves. Families of all ages are welcome!
Ada Pumpkin Still Life Painting
Adults and teens are invited to join us for a free watercolor painting class. Our class is suitable for all experience levels. Materials will be provided. This month’s project is a pumpkin still life.

Crookston Halloween Watercolors and Crafts for Youth
Create a Halloween themed painting with watercolors! Supplies will be provided. This program is geared for youth ages 3-13. Younger children should be accompanied by a caregiver.

Moorhead Storytime + Craft
Help your child develop exceptional reading skills by bringing them to Storytime. Afterward, kids can create simple crafts to take home. Today we’re talking about spooky books!
Each week, we explore different themes with stories, songs, rhymes, flannel boards, special guests and more! Storytime typically lasts for an hour and is geared for children ages 3-6, although children of all ages are welcome to join the fun. Craft supplies are provided free of charge.

Join us this Thursday morning for Halloween songs, stories and action poems for infants through preschoolers and their caregivers, all in community with our Senior Social!
Show off your best costumes for a special Halloween celebration! This week, Baby Bounce will combine with our Senior Social Hour for an intergenerational Halloween party. Bring grandparents along for this spooky celebration, including Halloween-themed books, songs and treats. This program runs 30-45 minutes including community with other caregivers and playtime.

Wear a Halloween costume and join us for a Halloween Party! Rate staff costumes, hand out candy, and more. The library’s Baby Bounce program will take place at 10:30; join for a special spooky Storytime and help hand out candy to the little ones.

Visit the Detroit Lakes Public Library anytime from 10 AM to 6 PM to enjoy some hot chocolate, color a spooky picture, and hunt for book characters hidden around the library. Find them all to win a prize.
