Boo-a-palooza at the Detroit Lakes Library
Dress up as your favorite literary character, make your own spooky Halloween crown, and find all the ghosts hiding around the library in our Scavenger Haunt.
Escape Rooms at the Barnesville Public Library
This year the Barnesville Library will host two Halloween-themed Escape Rooms.
Traditional Escape Room, Ages 12 & Up: Friday, October 25, 2019 from 6:15-8:00 p.m.
This Escape Room will focus on the theme of “The Halloween Tree” by Ray Bradbury and showcase Halloween celebrations throughout the years and the world.
Junior Escape Room, Ages 7 & Up: Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 12-1:30 p.m.
This Escape Room will be based on “Bunnicula” by Deborah and James Howe feature less spooky elements and will be geared to younger children.
Halloween Party at the Hawley Public Library
Take a break from trick-or-treating and make a Halloween craft at the library. Come in your costume and collect candy! This kid-friendly event is open to all ages.

Decorate a Candy Bag at the Crookston Library
Enjoy witch’s brew and a snack while decorating a candy bag before trick or treating! This event is appropriate for children ages 12 and under.
