The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary
While not a traditional romance, this book will steal your heart. Tiffy and Leon share a one bedroom flat, but the catch is each only uses the space while the other is gone. They work complete opposite schedules and their friendships blossoms very slowly through notes around their shared home. O’Leary also tackles tough topics such as obsessive/abusive relationships, being wrongly imprisoned, and intense job stress. With so many complex characters and topics, I’m still trying to wrap my head around the idea this is a debut author. She writes with a sincerity and a quality I don’t often come across. It’s safe to say I will read anything Beth O’Leary writes!
