Help Us Create a Community Cookbook in Honor of “Because of Winn-Dixie”

We’re pleased to announce a community-centered project in honor of this year’s One Book | One Minnesota selection, “Because of Winn-Dixie” by Kate DiCamillo! We hope you’ll join our effort as we collect recipes for a community cookbook celebrating this special book. In “Because of Winn-Dixie” the author used food to evoke strong memories for the books’ characters, so we want to share the recipes that spark some of your favorite Minnesota memories.

To participate, use the form below to submit your favorite recipe, as well as a few sentences describing your Minnesota memory. The deadline for submission is June 26. The cookbook will be shared in the library’s digital eBook collection and on our website.
