Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Imagine Fleetwood Mac in a highly entertaining Rolling Stone exposé, and you have the premise behind Reid’s popular 60s and 70s historical novel, Daisy Jones & The Six. I was most impressed by Reid’s dedication to her music world building– for example, she creates full albums and song titles, and we see how these relate to the characters’ stories at that point in their lives. It’s an incredible read for those who love their literature with a heavy music influence.
