Detroit Lakes Library to Host Author Lela Atwood Peterson on October 23

Learn about the writing process and researching your family genealogy with author Lela Peterson. Lela will share her experiences pinpointing an obscure interest to writing three published books (A House Divided, Pencil Shavings and Selma). Learn about the author’s process of researching her heritage and weaving it into a compelling narrative form that appeals to readers of many ages.

Lela will also share ideas to bring your own story to life in a variety of genres. Bring your questions as we entertain thoughts and ideas together.
