Canceled: Hands-Only CPR Classes Scheduled at LARL Locations

The Lake Agassiz Regional Library is closely monitoring information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and in effort to protect staff, customers and our communities, all locations will close for an undefined duration beginning Tuesday, March 17.

More than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside a hospital each year. Learn how to deliver lifesaving CPR care without rescue breaths and be prepared by taking a FREE American Red Cross 30-minute class at a participating LARL location.

It’s easy to learn and you can increase the chance of someone surviving a cardiac emergency when you immediately provide Hands-Only CPR. These classes are appropriate for those ages 12 and up.

Thursday, March 5 from 6:30 – 7:00pm at the Breckenridge Public Library
Monday, March 9 from 5:00 – 6:00pm at the Detroit Lakes Public Library
Thursday, March 19 from 4:00 – 5:00pm at the Hawley Public Library
Wednesday, April 8 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Crookston Public Library
