During World War II, Moorhead was home to a German Prisoner of War camp. Mark Peihl will share their story during an informational presentation at the Moorhead Public Library.

Join the Moorhead Public Library for an informative historical presentation by Mark Peihl of the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County. During World War II, scores of German prisoners of war worked in local agriculture as part of their time at Algona Branch Camp #1. In this presentation, Mark will bring to life an oft-forgotten part of local history.

All are welcome and this program is offered free-of-charge.
