Meg Langslow series
If you like humorous mysteries and haven’t yet tried the Meg Langslow series by Donna Andrews, you should definitely give it a go; and I recommend trying the audiobooks. Bernadette Dunne narrates and does an incredible job of portraying the myriad characters that pop up throughout the series. Although you definitely appreciate the family dynamics better if you start at the beginning of the series, each mystery stands alone so they don’t necessarily have to be read in order. Dive in with either the newest (the 27th book in the series!): ‘The Falcon Always Wings Twice,’ or start at the beginning with ‘Murder With Peacocks.’
