Sounds Like Titanic by Jessica Chiccehitto Hindman

If its cover alone doesn’t draw you in, then pick up Sounds Like Titanic to learn more about a fascinating young woman who played violin in a fake classical ensemble for a mysterious Composer.  I am not a nonfiction reader, but I devoured this book thanks to Hindman’s super engaging writing style and her scathing and relatable critique on post-9/11 America and a woman’s role in an increasingly “fake” society.  There’s a lot going on in this book, and you’ll love every line.

Check out Sounds Like Titanic here.
