Join us to view local aerial farm photos from WWII days to the present and learn about changes in local agriculture over the last 60 years.

Some of the main characters in The River We Remember work on farms, with varying equipment and types of crops. Join us to view local aerial farm photos from WWII to the present and learn about changes in regional agriculture over the last 60 years. Jacob Clauson, Assistant Professor of Geography at Valley City State University, will present his research findings about local changes in agriculture including farm layout, buildings, machinery, and crop coverage.

The River We Remember is the 2024 Selected Title for One Book, One Community, which invites Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo community members to read one book, together. Dozens of related programs will be held throughout the area culminating in a visit by author William Kent Krueger on October 29. Learn more at 1book1community.org.
