Intro to Genealogy Class Scheduled at Crookston Library Feb. 18, 2020

The Crookston Public Library has scheduled a free-of-charge class on genealogy research, teaching attendees how to use the free research tools offered by the library. The class will focus on the research tool Intro to Ancestry Library Edition, which is the world’s largest online family history resource, giving instant access to hundreds of years of history in millions of historical documents and photos from all over the world. Intro to Ancestry is offered free-of-charge within Lake Agassiz Regional Library locations. 
 
Scheduled on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 6 p.m., at the Crookston Public Library, the class will cover introductory research, how to gather records related to attendees’ family trees and an overview of the other free research tools offered by the library.
 
This event is offered free-of-charge  and is geared to adults, who are welcome to bring their own laptop or device to use.
