Detroit Lakes Library to Offer Naloxone for Overdoses Training

Join the Detroit Lakes Public Library for a Naxolone training session to learn more about the opioid epidemic, how to administer Naloxone for overdoses, and receive a free overdose treatment kit.
This training session will be led by a Certified Community Trainer of Trainers; kits and materials for the training are provided for and sponsored by the Rural AIDS Action Network (RAAN) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).
Please pre-register by calling the library (218) 847-2168. This training is open to all – you don’t need to be a professional, only a community member wanting to learn how to help.

Monday February 7 from 2-3 PM or
Wednesday, February 9 from 5:30-6:30 PM

All locations will be closed after 12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24 and will be closed Thursday, December 25 in observance of the holiday. See hours by location here.
