The History of Guitars: A Lecture Concert, October 27 at Concordia – Centrum

Join us for a concert lecture exploring the history of guitars through words, pictures, and music.

Markus Krueger of the Clay County Historical Society and musicians Pat Lenertz and Friends present a concert lecture that shows, tells, and demonstrates the history and evolution of the guitar, from its roots in the Ancient Middle East to the guitars of today. Along our journey we’ll take stops in 1500s Spain, 1800s Hawaii, and 1940s California.
