Join staff and fellow library lovers for a celebration of the season featuring holiday music, refreshments and delightful conversation. This event is offered free-of-charge and is open to all.

Moorhead Public Library
Saturday, December 2 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Join the Friends of the Moorhead Public Library for refreshments, music by the Red River Harp Ensemble, a mini book sale and an exhibit of German-American style Putz Houses. These handmade miniature homes are enchanting replicas of historic homes found in Moorhead, Fargo and Clay County. Artist Kelly Wambach will be in attendance to answer questions about the exhibit and share stories about the houses.

Join the Ada Public Library for a holiday open house. We’ll have delicious treats from Opdahl’s donuts, door prizes, take and make craft kits and plenty of holiday cheer!
Bagley Public Library
Saturday, December 9 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
The holiday season is upon us! Join us at the library as we celebrate the season by reading Christmas stories and painting salt dough ornaments to take home. This activity is free of charge and open to all children ages 5-12.
Climax Public Library
Monday, December 11 from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Lyndon is returning to give Climax another rousing holiday performance! Join us at the Climax Community Center as Lyndon performs the songs of pioneer Scandinavian immigrants to the Red River Valley, and other Swedish Holiday folk music. He will also share the context and histories of the music he performs. Lyndon hails from Hallock, and farms the land his great-grandparents homesteaded on. He also sings with the Grand Forks Master Chorale. This free program is offered through the Climax Library as part of the Climax Community Club’s December Meeting, and all are welcome.

Youth Christmas Craft and Holiday Stories
Crookston Public Library
Monday, December 18 from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Join the Crookston Public Library to make your own unique evergreen tree by decorating it with pom poms, tissue paper, glitter glue, and other craft supplies. Library staff will also be reading some holiday stories. This program is geared for youth up to age 10.
