Intro to Kinusaiga: Japanese “Quilting Without Thread” with Bizzy Burslie
Join Fargo-Moorhead artist Bizzy Burslie for a 2-hour hands-on workshop on Kinusaiga, the Japanese art of “quilting without thread.” Learn how to press fabric scraps into grooved boards to craft beautifully textured, no-sew designs while giving old textiles new life. This program is offered free of charge thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund and all supplies will be provided. Registration will open Tuesday, August 25 at 3:30 p.m. and will be available at larl.org/kinusaiga
