Without question, Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street: Tuesday Nights is the best cookbook I’ve ever had the pleasure of following. It offers a simple approach to fusion dishes that come together in a snap, with easy-to-find ingredients and instructions that anticipate the questions an everyday home cook would have. Be sure to check out a couple of my favorites I’ve made numerous times since discovering this cookbook: Maque Choux (pg. 95), Garlic and Cilantro Soup (pg. 193), and Indian Spiced Beef and Peas (pg. 25).
