Moorhead Public Library Introduces Quiet Room for Caregivers
Caregivers and other library visitors seeking a calming space have a new option available at the Moorhead Public Library. This month the library launched its “Quiet Room,” a space located adjacent to the library’s Children’s Area intended for caregivers and those who may need a quiet space. The room features chairs for nursing and feeding, a changing table for infants as well as books and other activities for youth.
“We are so pleased to offer this option at the library, which has already seen a great deal of use” Moorhead Library director Megan Krueger said. “Our goal is to make using the library a positive experience for all members of our community. We hope you’ll stop by to see what your library has to offer.”
