Moorhead Library to Host Summer Concerts Featuring Moving Parts on July 28 and Meat Rabbits on August 25

Join the Moorhead Public Library for a series of free family-friendly outdoor concerts this summer! Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating. Admission is offered free-of-charge and the concert is open to the public.

Additional offerings for all ages will be available during the event, including activities hosted by the Rourke Art Museum and the Friends of the Moorhead Public Library. Local food trucks will be available. These family-friendly events are made possible thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.

Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome
Thursday, June 23 at 7:00 p.m.

Join the Moorhead Public Library for a free performance featuring Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome, a classic rock band which boasts a swinging horn section and some serious funk. The band will play a set of classic 60s’ and 70s’ hits in an unforgettable concert held outside the Moorhead Public Library.

Moving Parts
Thursday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m.

This free concert will feature Moving Parts, playing vintage folk and Americana classics, country and neo-folk tunes in an outdoor concert held at the Moorhead Public Library.

Meat Rabbits
Thursday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m.

Join us for a family-friendly and free performance featuring Meat Rabbits, a high-energy polka and rock band playing a mixture of older polka songs and modern music adapted by the band to fit their unique style.

All library location closed after 12 p.m. Tuesday, December 24 and closed Wednesday, December 25 in observance of the holiday.
