Seed Starting Basics with the Detroit Lakes Master Gardeners

Get ahead on seed starting at the Detroit Lakes Public Library! Come and learn from the Master Gardeners’ information stations set up in the Detroit Lakes Public Library.   The stations will include making a newspaper pot, and finding out why they are ideal for planting seedlings. Your next stop will be at the recycled container station, where you will have the opportunity to start seeds in plastic deli containers.  As you move around the stations, you can create a self-watering container made out of a pop bottle.  Come and find out what other great stations we have in store.  Snack provided by the Becker County Friends of the Library.
