Topping Off Ceremony at the New Moorhead Public Library Scheduled March 20

The excitement is building! Join the City of Moorhead and Lake Agassiz Regional Library for a special moment in the construction of The Loop, the future home of the Moorhead Public Library.

Parking will be available in the old Herbergers parking ramp. 

A “Topping Out Ceremony” is traditionally held to celebrate the completion of a building’s structural phase, marking the placement of the final beam or highest point. On Monday, community members signed a 45-foot steel beam that will be placed in the structure, symbolizing the strong foundation of support and collaboration that has made this project possible. This is a unique chance to be part of Moorhead history and celebrate the progress of The Loop.
