One Book | One Minnesota is a statewide book club that invites Minnesotans of all ages to read a common title and come together virtually to enjoy, reflect and discuss. We hope you’ll join us in reading Slider and participate in a virtual discussion with author Pete Hautman on April 21, 2021. In this heartfelt novel for middle-grade readers, competitive eating views with family expectations for David, who can eat an entire sixteen-inch pizza in four minutes and 36 seconds and plans to compete in the world’s greatest pizza eating contest.
