The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
What a delightful doozy of a novel! If you’re in the mood for an Agatha Christie-esque whodunit, but one that is designed in the vein of the movie Groundhogs Day, pick up The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle immediately. This is one of those books where you will race to the end, all the while trying to figure out how the clues and characters fit into the giant puzzle at the heart of the story. Because I would hate to give away how exactly this book operates, I only ask that you pick it up, go in blind without reading the book summary, and start out as uninformed as our narrator is at the beginning of the novel.
