Bergsgaard, of Lake Park, has written intriguing crime novels centered around special agent for the state crime bureau, Franklin Delano “Doc” Martini.

Bergsgaard himself is a retired special agent for the US Treasury Department and for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

The Beat Goes On: Lorna Landvik October 16 & 17

Landvik made her debut as a novelist with “Patty Jane’s House of Curl,”  and also wrote the very popular, “Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons.”  She recently self-published her sci-fi novel “Mayor of the Universe” and also works as a comedienne, actor and playwright. She resides in Minneapolis.
